They have a proven track record of developing successful social media campaigns and the ability to adapt strategies based on data driven insights. The Social Media Senior Manager will be responsible for developing and executing innovative social media strategies for our diverse client portfolio.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Serve as the go-to expert on social campaigns for a diverse portfolio of clients
  • Stay informed about the latest social media trends and our clients’ industries to help bring new ideas to the internal team and clients (and be a liaison to the broader team to help keep the agencies current on trends and best practices)
  • Create comprehensive social media strategies that align with clients’ marketing goals and brands
  • Collaborate with internal creative, strategy and analytics teams in the creation of content strategy for client and agency social media platforms
  • Oversee content creation and distribution across various social media platforms, ensuring high-quality and engaging posts
  • Develop influencer marketing strategies and campaigns that align with clients’ goals and objectives
  • Manage the execution of influencer marketing strategies, including identifying and recruiting influential content creators, managing relationships and content deliverables
  • Oversee the management of social media channels for clients, including publishing posts and some community management
  • Manage paid social campaigns for clients, including strategic recommendations on campaign targeting, placements and ad types, campaign optimizations and budget management
  • Monitor and analyze social media metrics to assess campaign performance and ROI
  • Educate client teams on everything social media, from social media strategy to developing ambassador programs
  • Assist in new business RFPs and pitches as required
  • Support and promote the agency through event attendance and speaking opportunities

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Degree in marketing communications, public relations, advertising or journalism
  • 5-8 years of experience in social media/public relations/ marketing communications
  • Strong written, editing and communications skills
  • 3 years of influencer marketing experience
  • Experience with social media scheduling and management tools
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Familiarity with Sprout Social or equivalents a plus
  • Passion for all things social
  • The ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines

  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
