Agency celebrates promotions of Cheryl DeShambo and Anna Grace Brown

HARTLAND, Wis. (May 1, 2025)—C.O.nxt, a full-service marketing communications agency serving clients across the food system, is proud to announce the well-earned promotions of two outstanding team members: Cheryl DeShambo to Account Group Supervisor and Anna Grace Brown to Account Executive.

From proteins to produce, commodity association accounts and more, Cheryl DeShambo is known for her work ethic, diving deep into client work to gain an understanding of who a client is, its business goals and objectives and then championing her account teams to do the same. In her new role as Account Group Supervisor, Cheryl DeShambo will continue to lead multiple accounts with that high-level of discipline, structure and strategy valued by her clients and colleagues alike.

“Cheryl comes in ready,” said Brittany Steuer, Executive Vice President, Client Services. “She fosters an atmosphere of strategy and creativity, asking tough questions that push our work to new levels of impact. She also sets an example of embracing innovation, always raising her hand to test new tools—like AI software—to improve client outcomes and agency efficiency.”

With more than 30 years of experience in marketing, client services and product development, DeShambo has built a reputation for results. She’s served as a board member of the Milwaukee chapter of the American Marketing Association and holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.

Anna Grace Brown

C.O.nxt is also thrilled to recognize the growth and leadership of Anna Grace Brown with her promotion to Account Executive. A natural communicator with a talent for managing details, Brown has become known for her calm, organized approach and her ability to move projects forward with clarity and confidence.

“In my work with clients and account supervisors, I realized I wanted to take more ownership—guiding projects from start to finish rather than supporting just one part of the process,” said Brown. “This new role allows me to do that.”

Since joining C.O.nxt, Brown has become a go-to teammate, praised for her detailed work, thoughtful communication and exceptional follow-through.

“Anna Grace’s promotion is a direct result of her ability to set expectations and encourage progress with a level of polish that makes everyone’s work better,” said Steuer. “She brings steady presence to every project, and her approach elevates the care we bring to each client relationship.”

Brown grew up on a small family farm with a beef cattle operation and vegetable garden. She attended the University of Tennessee at Martin where she majored in agricultural business and minored in communications. She served as a Tennessee FFA State Officer and enjoyed competing in barrel racing and breakaway roping at rodeos.
